This Halloween, something truly magical happened in Tiffany Park, right near Parkchester in the Bronx. The Steele Foundation hosted a heartwarming Halloween candy bag giveaway that not only gave kids in the neighborhood a fun and safe experience but also helped strengthen our community bonds. The day was filled with laughter, spooky vibes, and an overwhelming sense of togetherness—one that we’ll cherish for years to come!
A Halloween to Remember
The morning of Halloween, our team at the Steele Foundation set to work transforming Tiffany Park into a haunted wonderland. Cobwebs, jack-o'-lanterns, and eerie decorations filled the park, creating the perfect backdrop for what was to become an unforgettable celebration. Families from the neighborhood, all excited for a fun day out, couldn’t wait to come by and see what was in store.
Our spooky setup wasn’t just for show; it turned out to be the perfect spot for kids to snap amazing photos in their creative costumes. We had everything from princesses and superheroes to ghouls and goblins, each child adding their own unique flair to the event. The smiles were contagious as the little ones posed with their friends and family against our eerie yet inviting scene.
120 Bags of Candy and Countless Smiles
As part of our mission to give back to the community, the Steele Foundation gave away 120 bags of candy to the children who came by the park. The excitement was palpable, with each child eagerly approaching the candy station to receive their sweet treat. But it wasn’t just about the candy; it was about making sure every child felt valued, safe, and had the opportunity to experience the fun of Halloween without any worries.
